Kanbatsu-Kouu Hikigaeru

The first impression that most people react to when she is in their presence is a small and weak child. Kouu is nowhere close to being weak, though her stature compared to most can be somewhat humorous at times. Leaving much to the imagination of the power that she holds, though most of her enemies overlook her abilities due to the low number on her chest. Her rank number is located on her left shoulder, on the inside of her shirt.


Personality: Talkative, Anxious, Playful, Joyful, Inappropriate, Admissible, Outgoing, Cruel, Childish, Obnoxious, and All-Around Overbearing; just a few words that describe Kanbatsu-Kouu Hikigaeru.

She is quite the chatterbox. Kouu will go on talking to herself from topics long finished from conversations with others. Mainly because she ends up being alone is why she does this. Probably from an inkling of her life as a human and being left alone most of the time. No one seems to take her seriously, or is able to stand the sight of her. Kouu tries again and again to prove herself to her comrades, even if it takes her becoming Queen of Hueco Mundo to do so.

She's anxious to prove herself, get out and kill some shinigami or humans. Whatever needs done to help the cause, to become noticed by those who shun her. Nothing can stop this rambunctious child from performing her duty. She can come off, at times, as childish, but this is because she can't sit still and listen to those who criticize her. She is really bubbly and anxious to start the day. She needs to find some excitement to calm herself. Whether its messing with the espada, playing with the hollows or finding a nice soul-reaper to kill. Fun is fun. You could easily find her putting a bunch of hollows in the meeting room just to see the other Espadas' faces, then running away as not to get in trouble. She even killed one of them because they would not play with her. It was very messy, it took almost a month just to clean it up.

She has trouble paying attention to her comrade’s dialogue, the only time she’s focused is when she’s in the thick of battle. Though she can easily doze off if the battle doesn’t stay interesting to her. If her opponent is too weak or is unable to give her a full challenge, then she will usually not waste her time in killing the poor soul, it’s just not worth it.

She’s admissible only for her ability to torture the Espada’s enemies; otherwise, she is left an outcast from the group. She has developed a hatred towards her comrades because they rarely take her on the frontlines, always leaving her to defend the castle. She releases that hatred upon her victims who dare to step into hueco muendo and try for the castle.

When she died, It felt horrible,and sadly relieving, to leave her family, it was for the best, or, at least, that was what she told herself. This hollow that had found her said It was the right thing. But soon after, the young girl found that all he wanted was her soul. She had tried to run from him as long as she could, it had been about six months of their game of cat and mouse, but he had finally trapped the girl spirit, and devoured her soul. No Soul-Reaper had come to help her and she found her heart growing colder,the chain dwindling down faster, by this fact.

Two thousand years later, she had grown stronger, found that hollow and destroyed him for what he did. It had been so long since her death, that she had completely forgotten her life, believing she had always been this way. She soon felt she had no purpose anymore and wished to die, Souls of humans were less satisfying to her, though they weren't all that satisfying to begin with. She found herself eating just to eat, nothing was filling the void,so she started devouring other hollows.

Becoming a gillian, she kept up devouring these hollowed beings trying to fill that emptiness. She progressed the menos evolution until reaching the goal of Arrancar. The transformation of Vaste Lorde to Arrancar was most painful.

 Kouu wanders the desert of hueco muendo in search of her next play-mate. She spots a giant bull hollow, how wonderful of a game this will be. Running towards the hollow, She trips on her robe, alerting the unknowing player of Kouu's first move. Stampeding towards her, the girl releases a powerful cero blast obliterating the bull hollow. Saddened by such an easy game, Kouu sets off to find someone else to play with.

As she wanders through Hueco Muendo, she ponders her place in this world. Is this her destiny? To serve the Espada and kill their enemies. What was her life like before all of this? For Kouu had forgotten all about her life before becoming a hollow and then an arrancar. She had even forgotten her name. She had been  Kanbatsu-Kouu Hikigaeru for so long she couldn't comprehend being anyone else, and even this name she did not know how it came to be bestowed upon her.

As she stared into the ceiling of hueco muendo, she'd heard a voice calling to her. She couldn't remember this Arrancar's name, but she knew him by his number. This arrancar had been looking for her. Apparently there was a meeting being held and she needed to be present. Those meetings were always so boring Kouu could not bear them, but she did as she was told and went back.

As the meeting was going on, Kouu zoned in and out. She never particularly cared for any of these meetings as they tended to be about the Soul Society, or Invading the Human World in order to establish power and domination. She never cared for the details, she just wanted to start the action already. She heard phrases like "We shall send in numbers 8 and 4 first," or "We can't wait any longer, we must go now," and Kouu sat up and was ready to go. But they would turn to her and scold her for acting like a child. She hated being called a child, but she always listened to them for they knew what was best.
