Jū Hime

Sizes range from large to small, or vice versa.

Jū Hime was born in Moscow, Russia inside of the Russian Assassin Brotherhood -officially known as Serkov- headquarters. A name had not been given to her, a tradition for the members of the Brotherhood that no one was allowed a name until the day they became full fledged Assassins. And the name they were given wouldn't be considered an actually name, it was more of an alias than a name. Until the day Jū Hime became an official Assassin, she would be referred to as either 'girl' or 'sister'.

Training for someone born into Serkov started at age five, the children learning young on how to kill so that they would get use to it. Jū Hime was one of the children that started early, being a year younger when her training had begun. Killing was something that came naturally to her, having lacked remorse and guilt during this time. It helped that she was young and part of an Assassin Brotherhood, killing was suppose to be second nature to anyone born within the Brotherhood.

Jū Hime was no exception to this, and her training was rigorous. She had shown signs of being far more advanced than her peers, and thus training had been sped up for her. Instead of earning her name at age 10 like the rest, she became one of the rare cases that earned their name younger than 10. To be exact, Jū Hime was 6 when she became a full fledged Assassin, and given the name Sharpshooter since she was an excellent marksman.

Jū Hime went on missions that the adults couldn't go on, playing the part of an average little girl that lived in Russia. Some of these mission were with children that were older than herself, and some were solo. Her missions always ended in success, the target(s) never suspecting that a child was capable of killing them. It helped that most of her kills were achieved at long range, thus not allowing anyone to ever see her.

Jū Hime had become a highly respected Assassin within her Brotherhood, having achieved the rank of Master Assassin at age 8. She was thoroughly in her missions, making sure all targets were dead and that there was no witnesses. Her career was promising, and she was on the track of becoming leader of Serkov in the future, but it was cut short.

Age 10, Jū Hime was sent to assassinate the Russian President. She was sent alone, the one issuing the mission believing that Jū Hime was more than capable of taking out the Russian President and coming back unscathed. But the details of the mission had been false, it was a trap set up by the Russian President to catch Sharpshooter.

Jū Hime had rode to Crimea to secretly board the Imperial Train which the Russian President would be on. Charges had been set underneath and around the train, all set to a specific time so that the charges would detonate by time she was off the train. Jū Hime did feel that something was out of place, but carried on with the mission instead of following her gut feeling.

By not listening to herself, Jū Hime walked straight into a trap. The Russian President had expressed surprise that the Assassin was a child, but nonetheless had Jū Hime gunned down. Her determination to finish the mission allowed her to live a little longer, shooting the Russian President in the forehead before succumbing to her wounds.

The charges detonated, forcing the train off the tracks. No one on board survived, thus leaving an explained tragedy in Russian History. Jū Hime body was retrieved by a member of Serkov, and she was buried in the private cemetery, her tombstone bearing the name Sharpshooter.

Jū Hime had awaken a week after her death in the realm of the Hollows. This would be lost to her since at the time she was a mindless creature bent on eating others of its kind. She was a Gillian, something that possessed beast-like intellect, and sadly she was no exception. Her life as a Gillian could be seen as uneventful, her only job was to eat and remain alive so that she could evolve. But evolve into what was the question the mindless Gillian couldn't answer.

All the Gillian knew was that in order to evolve, it had to eat. It didn't matter what it ate, as long as it was a Hollow that it could easily defeat. Life as a Gillian would have been the most dangerous in Jū Hime's evolution since she was weaker than Adjuchas, and could easily be eaten by other Gillians. But this Gillian was destined to evolve into an Adjucha, and that destiny was fulfilled upon finishing her latest meal consisting of another Gillian.

A week after gaining the power of an Adjucha, she awaken to having her mind back. Though she was no longer a Gillian, she was also still not human. Having taken the form of a white wolf that possess piercing blue eyes. Though she had no recollection on what happened during her stage as a Gillian, Jū Hime really didn't care. She was to busy immersed in her desire to kill other Hollow of her class, and it was something she did well.

Though she was a newly evolved Adjucha, she was stronger than others of her class. She would soon become very feared, but there was a group that she didn't dare challenge. Vasto Lorde, the smallest group of Hollow within Hueco Mundo. Their strength was something that any other Hollow would desire, but the human-like appearance was what Jū Hime desired the most. She wanted to be able to walk upon two legs instead of four, and she wanted to feel somewhat human again.

Her years as a Adjucha were becoming boring, and the desire to evolve was great. So she began to devour any Hollow she came across, not at all concerned about forming a pack or making 'friends'. Her only desire was the human-like body that Vasto Lorde had, and the power that came with it. Also, upon becoming a Vasto Lorde, she would no longer have to worry about regressing back to a Gillian. And the voices within her head would be silence forever.

That would be her goal, something that would drive her to become stronger. If she needed to eat other Hollows and even Souls in order to evolve, than so be it. She had no reason to spare the life of anyone, which would hold true to a Vasto Lorde. Finally, after many years of eating as many Hollows and Souls as possible, she evolved into a Vasto Lorde. She no longer had voices within her head, and she was now human-like.

Unfortunately, upon taking the form of a Vasto Lorde, Jū Hime lost the ability to speak. It could be due to the fact that she had rarely spoken in her Adjucha form, or it could be the works of becoming a Vasto Lorde, either way she would be forced to teach herself how to speak once again. Whilst teaching herself the English language, Jū Hime had also trained to become stronger. If she ever ran into a Vasto Lorde, she would like to protect herself to the best of her abilities.

That and she wasn't one to remain idle whilst others got stronger. She spent years as a Vasto Lorde, fighting Hollows of her class and lower. But as the years went by, she began to tire of being a Vasto Lorde. There was no fun when Hollows didn't dare to challenge her, and Vasto Lorde were so few that a battle was rarely seen between two of them. She was getting tired of this life, and wanted to end it all.

Jū Hime decided that she would rip off her mask, wondering if she would restart like she did after her death or merely cease to exist. Though upon ripping off her mask, she was met with excruciating pain, something that she had never felt before. The pain had been stopped the moment she blacked out, only coming back to a conscious state a couple of days later.

She had unknowingly achieved the form of an Arrancar, a Vasto Lorde classed Arrancar at that. She now had her human form back, having not aged a day since her death. Jū Hime could also tell that she was much stronger as a Arrancar than she had been as a Vasto Lorde. She liked this new form greatly, having gotten more power along with her body.

Though she had become an Arrancar, the rank of Primera wouldn't happen until much later. Though upon joining the Espada, it was clear that Jū Hime was more than suited for the title of Primera Espada. After joining the group, she introduced herself as Jū Hime rather than Sharpshooter, liking the former much better than the latter. And that was how things came to be in the present day.
