The 1st division was bustling. People were running around frantically and gritted teeth. Here and there one could hear hoarse screaming of orders and new intellegence. The Division had the mild under taste of Chaos. Certain orders were conflicting or failed to get across amoung all the other shouts and noises. Phones ringing, papers flying in and butterflies everywhere. People bumped into each other, as heated bodies cursed one another. Yet things were still getting done. In the Absence of the Captain Commander and their Lieutenant, the division officers had did their best to co-ordinate many things. Relief forces were unavailable and so was medical care. Thanks to the Make shift centres the 1st division was able to co-ordinate at least a little something. If they 2 were in battle it would not been a problem but the Captain Commander was missing and the Lieutenant had taken up arms. With no real authority the officers had taken risky calls and even made some descision that were out of their paygrade and authority. Screams continued even when the storm had passed. It was time to put the fires out, casualty reports flying in here and there, some beginning to crack under the pressure of authority and even the from the absence of it. And within Chaos, another arrived. One that over-rid all else. In the Presence of Yuri Aoi, the chaos and mis-array of the division became obsolete. Her presence was made known through the growing silence. Her footsteps growing louder and louder. All stopped what they were doing, taking a moment to breathe, turn their heads and look towards the Angel of Death. "Get the fuck back to work." She wasn't in the best of moods, she had come out "retirement" slash "exile" and had expected a good fight but it only ended with a coward swearing vengeance and such. The eyes that looked upon her annoyed her as well, she wasn't some spectacle to look at. However, as moody as she was her harsh words sent a wave of re-assurance and ease amoung the division members. "ye.....YEAH!!" at first the word was stuck in their throats, but the feeling grew as they shouted it multiple times echoing through the division. They say back to work, still shouting, swearing and shoving but it was a different vibe. Rather than Chaotic it was a vibrant display of being busy. They all knew what to do and sat straight away to work. Yuri, continued to walk towards the Captain's meeting hall, pushing it open with foot. Her zanpakuto sealed away and in her left hand. The oak doors creaked open, a cool silence greeting her. So, this would be her new position. A desk job almost. She walked to the end of the shaded room. Their the seat that preceded all the Shinigami currently alive. She sat upon it sideways. Her legs over one arm rest, her back on the other. The light failed to enter the room fully, only little shafts of it entered through the covered blinds. Her features were hidden with only a rough outline of her body present. Her spiritual presence was lowered to near nill. Almost falling into a trance of sleep but Yuri was still there. The demon's presence was still there, the kind that only the 11th division members seemed to notice. Even captains seemed to fail to notice the red demon hiding just on her skin top. "ha...." boredom.

| The presence of the one known to the residents of the Seireitei as Izanagi Kenpachi, resonated throughout the Ichibantai Barracks. The abominable Captain of the Juichibantai came as his usual self. He was without care, his abyssal spiritual pressure unintentionally leaking. The eyes of the numerous subordinate of the first division widened. To think they now had two Kenpachi in the same place. Well one former Kenpachi, since Izanagi had long since taken over the title. And many would deem him a mist worthy suitor to such a title. The crimson eyed Captain had his usual fox like grin on his face. His Zanapakuto carefully sealed away in its sheathe. The soul slayer was being worn on the left side of his hip, using his Obi sash to keep the weapon stationary. Izanagi had heard the news on his way to the first division barracks. That, and the man had sensed the woman. That same woman, the former Kenpachi. Yuri. It was always a bad idea having two combustible elements in the same room. Whats more, Yuri was to take over as the first division Captain? The new Captain Commander? The old and crude bastards, pretending to be wise sure didn't waste any time. At present though, none of that really mattered to Izanagi. There was other business that needed to be taken cared of. Such business revolving around the sudden re-emergence of the Bounto. Those fiend, constantly sucking away at the poor souls who dared to enter their clutches. These were the things that Izanagi wanted to discuss with his fellow Captains. Heck. Even on his way to the West Squadron, there were Hollows still rampaging. Some retreating, considering their summoners had vanished from the Seireitei. These summoners being the terrible Bounto of course. The Captain's foot steps echoed through the division. For some, it would appear the man was moving in slow motion. But that was false, the Captain was no doubt moving at a steady pace. His long white spiky, Faux Mohawk hairstyle, projecting an image of a savage beast. And perhaps Izanagi was, a Kenpachi was known to be such a thing after all. The moment of truth had finally arrived, with Izanagi turning up at the doors to the meeting hall. The Captain has had his moments in this long standing room, centuries old. There was a lot of history that came with the warm bosom of this meeting hall. The Kenpachi could quite clearly remember the first time he made his way to this place. That was a very long time ago. In actual fact, Izanagi was one of the longest serving Kenpachi in this new Gotei 13. The doors to the meeting hall was semi opened, and after a push, it came open. Thus bringing life to the Captain's appearance. His crimson eyes as red as the flames of Hades. His grin as wide as ever as his pearly white teeth glistened. His legs moving the man forward inside, where his soon to be prey was relaxing. "Funny seeing ya of all the peeps that might have turned up. How long has it been, woman?". The man quizzed before taking up position where the 11th Division Captain usually stood. He was however facing Yuri's direction so that they may even converse a little, should the woman be up to it. | |

She had been relaxing there for a short while, lethargy was a trait she had always harboured in herself. No doubt she was a hard worker forged through blood and sweat. The usual grime of steel on steel. But like everyone else the child knew how to enjoy moments of relaxation. The selected moment was such now. She would have dozed into a light snooze if it hadn't been for that smelly of Curry Like perspiration. The filth of a barbaric man, layered behind his sweat encrusted body. Was this what old geezers called, "getting old?". It was easy to forget rest of the idiots that occupied the 1st seats but to forget the crude barbarian was something of a personal sin. With what he considered a gentlemen push but infact a shove of the door the giant entered the meeting hall. From resting position her head looked up, cocking backwards as she showed parts of her currently crimson eyes. From her vantage point and titled head she had to look down at the man. One could pair him to the word Majestic but he wasn't the most graceful deer in the forest. He was the complete opposite, brutal and deranged. Not a single one qualified him for the title of Lord Lion. He was more like the unconquerable Coyote or some other wild animal. If left to rampage on his own he would probably end up devouring a city. Yes yes, the good old days when all two had to worry about was the daylight that burned away their fighting time. "Too, long close to a 100 years if madness dictates.... the world must be going under, The Seireitei Humiliated, you... punctual." Her mouth formed a sadisitc grin, breathing in the dirty stench. Her eyes following him for a few moments. "What, no love for your husband?" She never had control over making these snide comments towards him. It was a mutual and ongoing relationship between the two Kenpachi's. They were absolutely in love with another. Painting the town red. With Blood. Yes it wasn't quiet the orthodox Love. The absence of the other captains began to annoy her.

| "Now now. Tis no way to behave after a hundred years. And as a matter of fact, the Seireitei's humiliation is not down to me. I find it amusing that I'm actually here before the Nobles and the other sissies. Oh well". The barbaric one said in response to Yuri, his long time nemesis if you will. It had been such a long time since the woman feigned retirement. Which begs the question, was she even up to the task? If she is indeed in the position that Izanagi believed her to be. Then the Kenpachi would have to see for his self, whether or not her strength had waned. Could it be that she is now far more powerful than before? The sheer excitement brought forth a most sadistic fox grin. The white haired man would release a most exasperated sigh, after Yuri's most recent onslaught of words. The crimson eyed man would cock his head to the left and smile a moment. "Ya know, I'm starting to regret ever letting you get on top of me. Alas, I was caught in the moment, and a man is most vulnerable then. Woman. Tell me. What are we to do next? The Seireitei was left in shambles by the Bounto. More importantly, they seemed strong, which has brought me a lot of excitement. Tis been a while since I've cut down a worthy opponent. I'm having to make use of the weak cunts that cross my path. Tch". The Captain responded with a great deal of disdain for what had transpired recently. As it stands, at least three Captains had fallen. One such Captain being the Sotaicho, Fujisawa. There was a more pressing matter too. That being the sudden appearance of the Bounto race after such a long time. Izanagi thought they were either extinct or simply chose to hide themselves in the shadows. It had been a very long time since there had been any sightings of these creatures. The soul suckers of ancient past were sometimes intriguing opponents. Back then they were weaklings, now looked to have gained some strength. "Say, shouldn't we be arranging some funerals? I reckon such ceremonies should be held atop the Soukyoku hill. Its the least we could do. I take it you agree?". Yes. Izanagi wasn't the most gentle of souls. Nor was he the most emotional or sensitive of them all. But he did like the idea of honor, and his fallen and fellow Captains deserves a most honorable sending off. | |

"haha ah..... I have no regrets on being on top of you, then or now." Another trait subtly hidden and known only to a few. The most ambiguous yet clearly defined innuendos. The action was always implied but the truth to whether or not such events took place were the mystery. Was it metaphorical? an extension of some other related subject? Yuri Kenpachi let out a short and low toned sound of satisfaction. Yet the sound was clearly the one used for when one makes after a comfortable nap. A strange and mysterious women in her own way Yuri Kenpachi closed her eyes. The man had certainly changed over the course of her "retirement" he seemed to be a little less barbaric and had found the mind to be a bit more practical as a captain and not just some idiot brute who knew only but the sword. However even that was short lived, he reverted to talking about opponents and his feats. Yuri turned to look at a darkened corner in the room, her mind turning lethargic. Boredom, boredom. Not quiet addressing Izanagi or anyone in particular she spoke in her usual husky tone. "Who uses the blade on unworthy opponents." Her mind was drifting else where. She remembered when she was revered and feared as the Kenpachi. Her name was Yuri Aoi but her habit of leaving behind a red plane of her maimed opponents gave her an unofficial nickname of Yuri Aka. That was of the past, her name now was Yuri Shisaragi of the house of the blue crane. Her a noble, hmm... It seemed very unlikely that someone as foul mouthed as her would be a part of a noble house. Not just any noble house either, the House acknowledged as the most influential and of that family to be of the Head branch. But then again she guessed she did have a graceful side to her. Refinement in her own manner. Bit of the unorthodox, black sheep of the family. Was it a bit too cliche? The little social and traditional classes were of a great annoyance to her. Constantly being poked into speaking like a lady. god those little attendants ladies made one's nerves bunch up. But the drink was good. The nobles had some excellent brew stashed away in their cellars. Whenever she had the opportunity she would drink her fill. Stinking up her section of the manor for a couple nights on end. The only thing missing was a good fight. The little rushes you got when the opponent reacted optimally. Sometimes you got sad when the fight ended to quickly or the idiot couldn't react in time. It was like cold water dousing a fire. Then ther- ha... I guess one can't change spots. "Tch, the weak don't deserve the commemoration on such a place." There was a bitter taste in her mouth. With her free hand she sent a comb of her fingers through her hair. Her face was revealed, her cold vacant gaze and flawless peach skin. "see them off as you see fit" She was the Captain Commander now, she wouldn't be always act as she felt. "The Seireitei has seen peace for too long, it is about time the royal Court Guards enter a period of Red again." She was beautiful then but a few years and the high quality care of a noble had transformed her into a sort of Goddess. Athena if you will....................."Where the fuck are all the captains!" Her spiritual pressure would get out of control, her voice rising in annoyance and her eyes turning a dark shade of red. Clearly annoyed the building foundations shook, the dust from ancient nooks being disturbed. Her voice and anger would echo out through the division and out into the Gotei 13. It was brief, but already the division members were grovelling for support, some belching onto the floor while others held their bladders to dear life. She did not like to be kept waiting.

| "Jesus Christ calm down..." A deep, soft voice flows into the ears of the two Death Gods. Ookami Miyamoto, Captain of squad 3 finally makes his appearance, not very pleased. Well he's smiling slightly, his face appearing to be at ease, but truthfully he's in a really shitty mood. Yuri and Izanagi, two people Ookami has known for hundreds of years yet still didn't care for, rest in this meeting hall. You see... our hero is the type of dude that enjoys swordplay and peace, these two each hold and held the title "Kenpachi". They were the type that shoot first and take names from dogtags later, which obviously would annoy the Captain of a squad that extracts and hands out information.
"Soooo... Yuri Aoi and Jushiro Izanagi, what do I owe the pleasure? You two aren't trying to start some sort of weird orgy or anything are you? Because I'm kinda tired, if you haven't noticed we've been under attack errrrr... I'm sure we're still under attack actually. I was rounding up the forces so I could make a clean sweep of my quarters, so I hope this little meeting actually has a purpose or information I don't have." The black haired Oni says to his associates before sticking out his tongue in a childish manner. Ookami was known for being a bit of a joker, and at times childish, but always calm. He didn't really care if his actions annoyed anyone, he was over 1000 years old and a Captain, you had to deal with him.

| Rumours of the sudden disappearance of the Sotaicho had jumbled around, from unseated to seated officers to his knowledge, back and forth like his oscillating haori. Unsure of the truth of the matter, he paid little attention to the gossip that ran amuck even now, amongst the First Division members. They mumbled, whispering among themselves about the supposed inaugurating of the new Captain Commander.
Of course, the talk of the new Commander came as a shock and was embraced with disbelief by Captain Makoto, his knowledge failing him in regards to the losses the Seireitei had suffered as a result to the ambush by these intruders. There was buzz about it, sure, but what sort of man would he be to believe everything he heard? Surely the man known to pilot the division known for their level-headedness wasn’t that naive so as to rely upon seated officers to inform him of a matter as crucial as this.
So-doing would betray the Captain’s revered wisdom and portray him a fool not just among his peers but the whole of Seireitei. A tainted reputation would simply turn the man mad and who knew then, what he truly was capable of? Scurrying down the corridors, his pace quickened as he came to realize his lack of punctuality.
Truly, it wasn’t his fault; he had been caught up in his headquarters filling out the necessary paperwork and dealing with a dispirited officer. Nothing worse than a shinigami losing zeal and falling into despair due to their own self-perceived weakness; as a Captain, he couldn’t just overlook the situation and carry on his merry way to the meeting. Besides, he could get away with things like these once in a while. Sotaicho was absent; there weren’t any real consequences besides frowning colleagues. What was the worst that could possibly happen?
And there it was - the wild outburst of pressure accompanied by the equally sinister, boisterous voice. The gist of what she uttered was lost in the menacing atmospheric impression, and then there was the rumbling and mini-earthquake from the unfounded but familiar source. The sheer power was crushing alone but nothing he couldn’t handle, for he persisted with his pace, his curiosity wanting to be satiated he came around into the meeting area, peeking in first to see what the fuss was about and confirm his conclusion. Kenpachi Yuri.
Although what he knew about the former Kenpachi was something of a tale of old, he did witness the little bit of her concluding reign first-hand before her retirement, so to speak. The other Captains were easily masked away by her presence, but nonetheless still heeded. So like the subtle and quiet man he was, the embodiment of the strong and reserved, the Nanabantai Taicho did his best to slip into his reserved position in the room to avoid any confrontation. The sudden resurface of Kenpachi Yuri was quite the sight and his inquisitive nature piqued, the casual way in which the Sanbantai Taicho addressed both the current and previous Kenpachi a topic of interest in his bustling mind. Then again, so it was the nature of the Sanbantai Taicho to be so casual. He stood observant with his reports tucked underneath his left arm and Hisui on his right hip, simply observing and taking in.
He was a youngling amongst the elders and the children never spoke up whenever in the midst of the elderly, unless of course they were spoken to. He felt as though he was watching the reunion of close companions and for the first time, Captain Makoto felt empty. Did the unbreakable, vigilant, Captain of the Seventh Division finally have a flaw his opponents could prey on? Certainly not, it was foolish, this lonesome feeling. Maybe he tried denying it or perhaps, it truly was a foolish notion to think he was isolated, who knew?

No response. No words of continuity came from the Kenpachi. Izanagi found himself lost in thought, albeit soaking up Yuri's words as he stood his ground. The woman had changed and Izanagi could see it as clear as day. Her time spent with the house of the blue crane had some effect on her. She was far more refined and down right lazy. Izanagi disliked seeing her like this. The man would need to rid her of such disgusting traits. These bad habits would do the woman no good. Nor will it benefit the Gotei in anyway. Then came the point of speaking ill of the dead. Especially of ones comrade. Izanagi almost reacted, since even as a barbarian, the least one could do was have some respect for a fallen comrade. Yuri's spiritual pressure brought about a feel of nostalgia for Izanagi. At the same time it also showed that certain aspects of her personality havent changed at all. A gleeful fox grin appeared on Izanagi's face having sensed that more Captains were quickly approaching. "I guess yer calling card was heard".The man simply stated before turning to face the Sanbantai Taicho, Miyamoto Ookami. The Kenpachi rolled his eyes after having the words of his fellow Captain. The white haired fox faced Kenpachi decided he would respond in kind to his fellow Captain. "We were just discussing the Sanbantai's weakness, being one of the few Divisions to have been compromised. Any reason for this weakness?". The Kenpachi asked, all the while parading that wicked fox grin of his. Meanwhile the left hand of the Kenpachi rose and waved from side to side. The Captain was acknowledging The Nanabantai Taicho's appearance in the meeting halls. There was no point in Makoto Taicho laying low. Since his place was much closer to Yuri. The Sotaicho stood at the head of the table so to speak. While the second faced the third, the fourth stood opposite the fifth and so on. In that order Makoto and Ookami Taicho would be much closer compared to Izanagi. The arrangement was done in numerical order. Which also prompted Izanagi to take his rightful place. The very spot in which he's been standing ever since becoming a Captain.

| The relatively new captain rounded the corner into room, yet if one had not been focusing on it they would barely notice his presence. His own spiritual pressure was well suppressed, and his movements light and fluid. Daizai was not attempting to sneak by any means, he just was not one flashy entrances. A huge burst of reiatsu had been a call and he had answered, far too flashy a method of delivering a message for his taste. He took note of all who were in the room, he had met and seen them all before briefly in the past but he could not say he knew them well. The path he took was around the edges of the room so as not to cut across any current conversation, he seemed to glide across the floor as was his divisions way, no noise. Gently stepping into place he stood where the 2nd division captain should, standing casually. He made sure to also give a small bow towards the captain commander who lazed about in her chair. Then he settled into a casual stance, left hand on his chin, his right elbow went back to lean on the hilt of his zanapkuto. An unusual way to keep it, but it made this non-threatening pose so much easier for him. He had chosen not to speak to anyone yet, he had nothing to say which wasn't obvious. He never spoke without needing to, it was such a waste. Though looking in the direction of Ookami he almost gave a faint smile, that man was so laid back it amused him. The other captain he was wary of, knowing full well that the eleventh division was full of barbarians, he was sure the captain was no exception. | |

Her anger noted by the 11th division did the trick. As soon as her displeasure radiated throughout the walls 3 captains had instantly made their appearance. The first coming in the form of the idiot 3rd division captain. His presence was as stark as the ants that plagued the floors. All knew he was there but most chose to ignore being until a form of entertainment was needed. However in numbers even the dumbest of ideals can lead to mass genocide of a particular race. Regardless, until numbers hit their thousands it was a moot point. The Second entry was something different. Someone rather young, perhaps gaining the title of Captain similar to her age when. He checked the vicinity, waiting and assessing. A one to check his surroundings. She tried to recall, she did not recall when she assessed the vicinity. She did size up everyone in hopes of good game but other than that she seldom cared in whose presence she was. Over the years her boredom had even made it more severe, talking down and freely insulting the Central 46. The last entry was sort of a mystery to her, but the way to wanted to be quiet and out of the picture yelled the Second division. The good days when the 2nd division captain was both smart and boisterous. They didn't hide their presence or even remain quiet. Their outgoing personality and outward retardation was the best cover. Everyone knew the powers of a captain, there was no use hiding it. If you always hide your pressure people notice it like the shy kid in the corner. But if one day the noisy kid disappears people find it difficult to locate him. Trying on ends to make light of his position, his untimely presence causing the victim to panic... Jushiro Izanagi was from that old fine day. Apparently this Ookami was too. "hmm, my understanding is only the 3rd division really needed sweeping as the divisions of the other present captains never had their division compromised. anywhom..." A pause. A change in tone. "All present captains, the pathetic creations have returned. I want to see every one of their heads impaled through their own spinal cords.Pay respects to the dead, Share what information you have and gather your respective divisions." Meeting adjourned. Simple. She would stand, making to leave. "Izanagi Kenpachi. We have unfinished business"

| Looking around the room Ookami could tell that today, the Soul Society took losses. Yuri's incredible spiritual pressure, along with the hell butterflies should have reached all Captains in the Seireitei. Yet for whatever reason, only 5 were present. Tears for fallen friends don't come out anymore, being so old the only tears are from things you aren't used to, like joy. The 7th and 2nd squad's Captains made their appearance, apparently surviving the assault that took place. Obviously they must have been strong enough to fend off the enemy, though the "Sanbantai Taicho" was curious about how exactly strong they were.
"We were just discussing the Sanbantai's weakness, being one of the few Divisions to have been compromised. Any reason for this weakness?"
Izanagi found a way to open his mouth and piss off the black haired man, his eyelids closing in, preparing to frown. Of course he doesn't show his irritation, changing his facial expression into a smile with light laughter.
"Ahh, see what happened was... I was sleeping, and when all this shit went down I woke up too late." He chuckles to himself a bit. "I kid, I kid! The truth is... I was doing a little investigating into what seems to be a leak of information from my squad. I think someone may have given info to these cocksuckers who attacked us. Once I leave here I'll find out though. No one betrays Squad 3, we don't accept traitors or cowards." As he says this his own Spiritual Pressure explodes as his eyebrows furrow. He of course calms himself and his energy, he's not the flashy type, nor is he one that is easily angered.
"Hmm, my understanding is only the 3rd division really needed sweeping as the divisions of the other present captains never had their division compromised. Anywhom... all present captains, the pathetic creations have returned. I want to see every one of their heads impaled through their own spinal cords. Pay respects to the dead, Share what information you have and gather your respective divisions."
"Needed sweeping? Are you referring to my squad members? If so let me remind you they aren't crumbs you hide under a rug, these are my men. I'd advise you to honor your own words and respect them, Yuri Kenpachi." This also annoyed Ookami, but one outburst was enough. His eyes grew cold while he glared at her, while he respected Yuri, he certainly didn't care at all for her. What a one dimensional person, after damn near a millennium, you'd think someone would grow a personality. "That's all I have to say on the matter, you want me I'll be drinking sake and doing homework. Ciao." With that the man simply vanishes, indeed needing to finish a few things before he personally buries the bodies of his men.

| The raising of one's spiritual pressure was enough to summon forth another Captain. However, it was a poor turn out for some unknown reason. Maybe the missing few had not received the memo? The 11th Division Captain all the while kept a fox grin on his face. A gleeful and most wicked grin it was, his ears accepting the words of the others present. Many would deem Izanagi to be a rash and barbaric soul and that he was. But more importantly, he is intelligent, and calculating, so much so that it is the most frightening aspect of his existence. The white haired Kenpachi sighed a little as Ookami gave his retort. Izanagi would like to think the man was most fortunate at this point in time. Yuri was focused on Izanagi and their unfinished business. Which means Ookami was nothing more than a small fry to the new Sotaicho. To think Yuri would let Ookami's blatant disrespect slide was another thing. The Kenpachi followed suit as Yuri began leaving the meeting halls. Although, the man would stop for a brief moment to speak a few words. "Ya know, I find it surprisin' that I'm dubbed the barbarian. You guys appear even more rash and unruly than I am. In any event, welcome back to Yuri. And do remember she is out new Sotaicho. I say this out of concern for your own life. Don't have to respect her, but respect the title. Buh-bye for now". The Captain kept on moving after saying these words. He would soon vanish, since it was time to prepare for the inevitable battle. It has been a long time coming now. The only problem is, choosing a suitable place to do battle. The idea of two Kenpachi clashing won't go down well with central 46. But it was always a good idea to have these two relinquish any regrets they may be harboring.
