The South Squadron has the 10th and 13th Divisions located within this region of the Seireitei. It is also in this area that the Senkaimon Gate is located and manned without fail. Here in the East Squadron the Blue Stream gate is located, which is constantly manned by a gate guardian and various Shinigami as back up. In addition to this, there are also four Gotei 13 division located within the East Squadron. The Noble house and Shisaragi Family manor is also located here.

The North Squadron is home to the White Way gate and rather close to the famous place of execution, the Sokyoku Hill. The North squadron also houses four Gotei 13 division barracks/headquarters. One of the Seireitei's four noble houses and family manor is also located within the North Squadron. The Nakimana household can be found here.
