- PF Tournaments are a good way to not only help people who might find Rping battles more challenging, but also to get our surprisingly diverse range of abilities showcased without the concept of death being a problem. If, especially when we have more members, we held smaller or even larger tournaments that were PVP with stages, I think that it would not only be beneficial to the site for Rpers but would also be a good way to just have some casual competition. With prizes of course Be it XP or a recently added technique to show up in the Manga etc. With 3rd 2nd and 1st place finishers getting good prizes and a consolation prize for entering and actually contributing (I.E Not just entering for the XP and just losing without trying) then we could hold a range of different tournament situations. Even team events.
Different scenarios for different tournaments. =) Without further ado: BASE COMPETITION IDEA Tournament Name: (Self explanatory) Max # of teams: (This doesn't really have to be capped) Max/Min # of members per team: (It can be max of one for 1v1 tournaments Objective: (Can range from CTF to Deathmatch, Name of objective should be stated and underneath a basic description. Preferably use this format.)
- Capture the Flag
Capture the flag is a traditional outdoor sport where two teams each have a flag (or other marker) and the objective is to capture the other team's flag, located at the team's "base", and bring it safely back to their own base. But, when you've got a range of wicked ass powers, Capture the Flag tends to get a little... Hairy. The bases are made to be spiritually resistant to all forms of attack, and within a 1m radius of the flag, magic is completely cancelled, also, defensive abilities to protect the flag here become either harshly weakened or void, strategically plan and bring your team to victory, or incapacitate your enemies and steal the flag during their respawn period, the choice is yours.
- Deathmatch
Last man standing (LMS) is a multiplayer deathmatch gameplay mode featured in the majority of the more recent first-person shooter computer games. The aim of a player in a Last man standing match is to dispatch his opponents and remain the sole survivor; the basic rules followed are generally the same of the Deathmatch gametype, with an important difference: respawn is limited or not allowed at all. Each player is assigned a specific number of lives per match (or just one when there is no respawn); once these lives have been expended, the player will no longer be able to return to the current match and remain as an invisible spectator until there is a winner and the LMS round is over. With no respawns and a number of enemies ranging from 1 on 1 to 5 on 5 to battle royal, this aggression based game is sure to have your battle RP senses tingling and exercised for when in matters IC
- VIP
Who doesn't love being a VIP? Ever wanted to be a body guard? VIP allows you to step into a body guard's shoes, protect your VIP whilst taking out your opponents'. With game types that allow for player VIPs and NPC VIPs, your strategy skills as a team will be tested here, and how will you act as the VIP? Will you use your granted power boosts to aid your team or will you let them do the work?
- (Insert Other Gametypes here)
Additional Rules: (The specifics of the gametype and whatever you want to throw in) Setting: (Where will it be?) Setting Gimmicks: (Features, i.e Timed eruptions, rotating blades, weakened elements, strong winds etc) Prizes: 1st 2nd (If necessary or wanted) 3rd (If necessary or wanted) 4th (If necessary or wanted) 5th (If necessary or wanted) Consolation Prize | |
