| It was a cool day in the 9th division. With the on-coming rain clouds the whole of Soul Society was humid. People were fanning themselves in the heat of the summer but not the 9th division. The 9th division was as cool as Ice. Frozen dead in their tracks, they eyes vacant of any thought. No one walked the frozen labyrinth of the Barracks. A content whistling could be heard in the division. It echoed through the icy palace walls.
The place sparkled with its sharp angles. Reflecting the light like a diamond. They vibrated in tune with the whistles as a thunderclap caused them to shake. A little ring on a telephone like device. The whistling stopped. "Yes?" The accent was thick, heavy and foreign.
"Ugh! We need help down here" "Comrade where are your manners, did your mother never teach you how to say how are you?" "What? Who are you!" "that is none of your concern comrade." "We are being attacked fuck sakes help us!" "Good... Have nice day"

| "Where are those Harbingers when you need them? Damn hell pigs. I could use some Vodka, yes, Vodka and Ice. Maybe hold off on the ice, this area is plenty chilled already. Haha, comrade I made a funny. Oh shit, he's a dead, frozen stiff. I hope no one blames me". The thick accent of the culprit could be heard as the man stared at a Shinigami that was frozen over. The lower tier being did not stand a chance against the culprit. The man would soon dust himself off and shook his head. He was awaiting one of his partners in crime to show up. The wretched being wore a black mask, a blank one at that, reminiscent of a Hollow's mask. At this point in time, he was garbed in Shinigami robes, but perhaps something else was being worn beneath those robes. The tall individual even stood his ground, while hearing the footsteps of another approaching. The culprit began chuckling, since finally his partner in crime had shown up.
"Welcome comrade. It took you a while, what's with the hold up, hm? Stopped for a quick dump?". The culprit with the thick accent asked out of curiosity. A smile appeared on the face of the man behind the mask. The new arrival on the scene would shake his head. The wretched one sure knew how to stir up a little bit of trouble. Maybe he was trying to get a reaction? "Contrary to what you think, I was preparing something outside. We can't be too careful. In any event, I will hang around here, its time you move onto the next stage. Happy hunting, comrade".
"Is that sarcasm I hear?". "Sarcasm? Me? Oh gosh no".
The exchange was swift and witty, while the original culprit made his way outside. The new arrival on the scene would make his way outside and onto the division grounds. The man would soon dip his hand into his pocket, removing three small items. While also pulling out a device, one resembling a remote of sorts. The three small items would be tossed into the air, and the button on the remote would be pressed. The barrier protecting the Seireitei vanished, leaving a thirty second window open. The three small items exploding, releasing what many would deem to be Hollow bait. And so the show would begin, with Hollows of all shape and size, not to mention levels would come racing into the Seireitei. Meanwhile, the man behind all this would stand his ground and smile. Let the mass panic commence.

The Shinigami sheathed his Zanpakuto back into it's scabbard while the fading sounds of a bisected Hollow disintegrating into a shadowy nothingness echoed behind. The Captain traveled swiftly atop the white buildings of Soul Society, above the chaos of battle happening below. Regrettably he had no time to give aid to his struggling comrades that as a result, of the sudden attack on Soul Society, were in a unorganized disarray. They will need to make due by themselves. The Fourth Division Captain grudgingly thought, coming to terms with the unfavorable mindset that many lives were going to be lost in the bloodshed. Many will breathe their last on this day but, Soul Society will not fall. Reassuring himself, Captain Nakimana freed himself of any adverse thoughts and, made a silent prayer of forgiveness to the brave lives that would depart this world before the carnage was over. One may question the reason for the Captain ignoring his struggling comrades and, consequently for his actions, send them to their untimely deaths. In truth there was no viable or, acceptable answer the man could give to fully justify abandoning fellow Shinigami to be slaughtered. However justifiable his actions were, the man did have a reason and, it was that he was heading towards the source of where the mass Hollow outbreak began or, at least where barrier that usually acted as protection began to fail, the Ninth Division.
Yashakoi had seen with his own eyes the scene of the barrier deteriorating until it was no more. The event reminded the Shinigami of glass cracking until-- it was simply gone and, the mass of the black creatures known as Hollows began to descend in waves into Soul Society. At that point the Captain had only just reached the Northern gates and, sensing the coming danger he tasked the gate guardian in keeping anything not Shinigami inside of Soul Society. "No good will come from Hollows spreading into the Rukongai." Were his final words of warning before he left the giant to find the cause of the attack. The collapse began around the Ninth Division. He contemplated, mind beginning to quickly process information, formulating questions of how, what, why, where and, especially who was the cause of all the turmoil.
Now close in reach to his goal that was the Ninth Division and, if he had come to the correct conclusion hopefully the location where he would find some answers, Captain Nakimana hurried his pace as if he were making the final push of some sort of race. Flying through the air the Shinigami quickly began descending onto the division grounds. A pair of Hollows tried to bar the male's way however, the Captain was too focused and, too determined to be interrupted by a duo of outclassed adversaries. The result of the clash? A quick death for the foolish intruders who were sliced to pieces and, briskly began to brake down into clouds of smoke before the Shinigami even touched ground.
The Captain stood silently, taking in his surroundings. To describe the state of the Ninth Division in one word would be frozen. What used to be the grounds had been iced over as if some kind of otherworldly blizzard had solely passed through the division and, proceeded to turn all who resided in it's walls into arctic statues. How many escaped? How many died? Where's the Captain? Numerous questions swirled in Yashakoi's mind that he tried to piece together. He couldn't but, it was a good thing that the foreign man in front of him possibly could. "It seems you've been busy." His words were spoken in a calm tone that betrayed the internal anger raging within him, while he motioned at his surroundings with his hands to the intruder a few meters away from where he stood. "I'll ask you only once to give up and, desist in your actions or-- suffer even worse consequences then the ones you already deserve." The Captain purposely emphasized the end of his phrase, wanting to make fully clear the severity of the man's crimes and, stood at the ready for any action as he waited for a response.

| He stood tall, the six feet five inches and two-hundred and twenty pounds of muscular being, adorning a black waist coat on top a blood splattered white shirt. Adjusting to face the newcomer, he grinned, his blood thirst quenched by the arrival of his new meal. An all-powerful captain had arrived finally to keep him company. It got lonely out here, orchestrating the downfall of the esteemed soul society. It wasn’t so esteemed anymore, what, with all these Hollows raining down to feast and soul reapers falling down left to right? It was bliss, at least in his deranged mindset.
The man of Australian descent placed the remote back into his coat’s pocket, adjusting his attire so he looked somewhat presentable. His blood-splattered shirt made for a nice design, as the blood had decorated it so perfectly it resembled a designer’s shirt if anything. Such luck, for a well-mannered gentle man with a sense of fashion to experience – it was odd, or was it fated? It had to be the latter, for everything had been going just as planned. The Captain, too, would soon meet his inevitable fated end. First and foremost however, introductions were in order.
“Ay, ay, Captain. Busy, I have been. I’m glad you noticed my work; they say my traits are manifested in my work, I don’t see it. I mean, it’s all ice and chaos, just look at it. You can even smell the blood. How could they possibly think my personality is in my work? Don’t you think it’s an ill-fitting metaphor, Captain ... – ooh, look at that, I don’t recollect your name. Never mind that now, I suppose it won’t be at all important,” he responded, his laid-back composure announcing itself as the Australian spoke in an equally calm tone. It seemed though, he simply disregarded of the Captain’s threatening words, but that wasn’t the case. He was a patient man, the Australian intruder. Everything were accorded their time and place, no need for rush.
Besides, it was necessary to buy his comrades time to accomplish their mission before they moved on to the next task on the list. He pulled out a cigarette and placed it in his mouth, cupped and gave light to it. Inhaling the dry taste of tobacco, he slowly exhaled. “These things can kill, they caution me; but I’m immortal, what’s there to fear, right? Anyway, since you asked so politely, no-named acquaintance of mine – don’t you guys introduce yourselves, thought you were known for that? - But nonetheless, I’ve halted my actions. I stand here before you, an innocent man just lighting up a cigarette. Whatever is going on around you, I assure you that I can’t stop it. I simply opened the door for demanding guests. That’s not a crime in these parts, is it? If it is, then maybe you need a smoke. How about it?”
He tossed a pack of smoke at the Captain, his sudden affectionate nature of these soul reapers far-contrasting the hand he showed not too ago at the third division headquarters. The captain’s spiritual pressure just excited him. The thought of feasting on such power got him high-strung ... or was he really just a demented freak?

| The sounds of alarms pierced the air as Captain San Hasu finally made his way to the battlefield. It would seem that lots of damage had already been done, and more was still to follow if he didn't do something quick. It took him only a matter of three minutes to make it from the Southgate to the Ninth Division as he had been pushing his body at full speed the entire way. Upon getting there he would be stepping into a mess that was none like he had ever seen before in the Social Society. A group of Hollows were smashing their way through and running a muck all over the place. Houki would quickly drop to the ground as he feet would slightly crack the earth beneath his feet. His hands would grab hold of his Zanpakuto as four hollows charged the now pissed off man.
"Who the hell, told you it was okay for you to step foot on these grounds." The words would come of cold and filled with malleolus, which was something that San Hasu normally allowed to happen.
With a quick flick of his wrist, would cause his blade would slide through the first hollow, and on to the next as he would allow his body to dance around the corpse, and strike down the second. He would continue to Shunpo from hollow to hollow leaving a could of dust in his trail. He would turn towards the next set as he his teeth would clench together and spiritual pressure begin to climb out of anger. Again he would attack four at a time, making sure to not waist a lot of energy this time around and simple charge the beast. Sukeyo again would make short work of the filth hollows as he would catch wind of another captain's presents.
"What the hell is he standing around for in a time like this," his tone would carry pass a whisper as he would cut down another three.
How many of these things are they? His mind questioned, but his body did not stop moving for a second as it would seem that some of the hollows were far stronger the rest. The more that San Hasu killed, the more that seemed to appear as if they were almost multiplying, it was odd and tiring all at the same time. San Hasu would take a brief retreat to the roof tops as it would seem that a little back up had finally made it to the fight. Although few in numbers, they should at least be able to contain the hollows while Houki checked in on the other captain who was not far from his current location. It didn't take him long as he would soon find himself staring down onto the Captain and strange man with a cigarette glued to his mouth. Houki would not rush in as he wanted to see if he could catch on to this little stand off. Finally the stranger would announce himself as the open that broke the barrier that once surrounded the Soul Society, also he made a point of saying something that San Hasu wasn't sure if he heard correctly and was forced to asked and make his presents well known.
"You there... come again... What do you mean by demanding guests?" Houki found this odd that the man was not claiming ownership of this mess.
In fact the man was simply stating that he was a pawn in someone else's scheme, but who's? Was the man pulling the strings still around? If so, where did he go? Finally Houki would break his train of thought to speak once again, "Captain Yashakoi, I know I may be asking a lot, but please don't kill this man right away... It seems that he may be key to finding the one who's pulling all of the strings." Houki knew that it was a long shot to believe that this man wasn't the man who started this war, but out of all of the years of experience, he never once meet a person who would denied an attack on this level as their own master plan.

| There were two types of people when it came to conflicts or, struggles; those who hurriedly jumped in to a battle without a second thought or question and, those who chose to exercise vigilance or, caution before they entered combat. Captain Nakimana was clearly of the latter and, it seemed that his enemy was evidently made of the same cloth. This made the Shinigami although, not enough to be classified as uncertainty or, fear, it did leave the man with a tad nagging doubt. The reason for this slight apprehension was as a result, of the Nakimana believing that one who doesn't go into action as soon as they're pressed or, bear downed upon, is someone who had a plan or, some sort of trick up his sleeve and, the possibility of a trap was enough for Captain Nakimana to take a bit of caution. As the saying goes "It's best to be prepared for what could happen then not be prepared at all." And the Shinigami would make sure to take heed of the phrase's warning.
No mask. No hole-- he's not a Hollow or, Arrancar. Yashakoi concluded upon taking an investigative glance at the man before him. He can't be a human. The living aren't able to be in Soul Society. Noting the unfamiliar man's aura or, Spiritual Pressure, the male quickly tossed out the possibility of this attack being the cause of his race's enemy the Quincy and, thus not able to discern what the intruder was, left the Captain curious on the man's origins. This one is too calm. He thought taking into much consideration the tall man's attitude, his words and, the fact that he didn't even bother denying he was the cause of the attack on the Ninth Division made the Shinigami come to the quick conclusion that his would be opponent was Too confident. And, it would be this overconfidence that would be his undoing but, not before he had gotten the knowledge he needed from the man.
Yashakoi felt another presence heading towards his direction. An ally. The Shinigami concluded from the the person's Spiritual Pressure and, a Captain at that. His ally's coming arrival had caused the male to wonder how the man before him would react to being at the mercy of two Captain level Shinigami. Will he try to run? He thought, resting his right hand on the pommel of his Zanpakuto. I will not allow escape. He reflected, confident in his own ability to stop the invader from fleeing or, if things came to blows.
Before Captain Nakimana would take any action he would listen to the invader, trying to uncover any hints that would aid in the Gotei Thirteen's counterattack against their attackers. As the Shinigami listened, his mind focused on a curious phrase the foreign being spoke and, promptly responded trying to determine if his suspicions were true. "So you're immortal." He spoke aloud in the middle of the man talking as he watching closely for any signs of treachery in the big man's movements in lighting a cigarette. All while purposely ignoring the mocking remark on the Captain's choice in withholding his name and, consequently for interrupting his enemy, came off a bit rude. "Pray tell how did you come across such immortality?" He asked in a serene yet authoritative tone that attested to Yashakoi's nature to keep a calm demeanor at all times.
However, before the Captain could get any answers his colleague; announcing his arrival, had stepped in with his own question for the foreigner. Who are they? Captain Nakimana mused repeating to himself the question as if trying to figure the answer out for himself. It wasn't difficult to ascertain what his associate was implying. This wasn't done by one person. He thought grudgingly, the idea of the attack on the Seireitei being a group undertaking would make the situation much more complicated and, dire then it was already. "Captain." He regarded the fellow Shinigami with a small nod to show his acknowledgement of the male before turning his attention back to the man in question. "Agreed." The brief remark signified his admitting to be of the same mind with his ally on the case of not sending the intruder to his fated punishment-- not yet at least. "My colleague has brought a good point who are They, as you put it?" Captain Nakimana repeated the question, believing that the answer would allow him to gauge the situation more clearly and, so awaited for a response.

| The clock ticks faster and faster, while time runs the marathon. Time had never been on his side throughout these unraveling of events, this outbreak and declaration of war against the soul reapers – surely, that’s how they perceived and understood the circumstances surrounding them. These soul reapers, however, were furthest from being a priority on his mind; to some extent they were a concern, they held back the mission at hand and significantly impeded the alarming rate of progress his associates had made thus far. It was a nuisance, and the new presence in particular, sparked a flame in his eyes, these little interferences causing irritation – the Australian’s happy-go-lucky demeanor dispatched as quickly as it had come forth. He glanced upon his watch, shaking his head disapprovingly at the hour thereon. The two men who kept him company had inquired of him questions pertaining to the insidious intrusion of their home, to which he gave no valuable response. The Australian’s mind was engaged with thoughts of the well-being of his comrades and their success in the individual tasks each was assigned, the overview of these assignments centrally fixed on distraction; the last-minute showing of these captains, however, threw off the balance he thought they had firmly established. So, here he was, left with a time limit that shortened hastily with every passing moment. Rushing, although never his forte, he had no viable alternative than to rid himself off his company and the futile conversation that ensued from it, misleading these naive men to believe they were on to something. How absurd, to think the Australian was willing to reveal critical information – simply child’s play, these two – how they were easily swayed by his words. A devious smirk manifested upon his barren facade; his disposition threatening to eradicate their pitiful existence. “ All these questions and still, yet to introduce yourselves – is this how you welcome guests? I suppose we weren’t expected after all,” he spoke, his tone reminiscent of the breeze sweeping by, putting out the lit cigarette and preserving what little was left in the pocket of his pants. The pack of smokes he threw at the long-haired Captain came short, his assumption of the Captain’s reaction failing miserably. He brushed the dirt off his shoulders to say the least, swiveling his head to physically acknowledge the prickly-haired Captain, adjusting his stance so he could perceive both soul reapers without straining his neck. Standing ovation. Not long after he spoke, his subsequent round of applause began, praising nothing noteworthy specifically, applauding the captains’ scrutiny of his words. “ I see you two are well-disciplined when it boils down to picking up on the little, miniscule, relevant information ... which are, unfortunately for you two, worthless. See, I’m not allowed to speak of our purpose in, forgive me, our intrusive entrance; otherwise, we would have knocked and kindly requested for your compliance. Don’t you reckon? Needless to say, you are both prolonging my presence here and interfering in our retrieval of what is ours,” his tone of voice carried with it gravity, cautioning the captains of a possible battle to ensue. The atmosphere cringed with the crisp, frigid, imprint of maliciousness, the Australian seemingly unalarmed by the vile presence overwhelming the surrounding area as his hands slipped into the coziness of his snug pockets. “ It appears I’ve spoken too much. Show yourself, Maganda. I’d flee if I were caught in a similar situation, my beloved opponents. Don’t you feel that, the cold breathing on your very backs? This, my beloved,” he motioned to the ice crystals falling in light white flakes, the surrounding grassy plain of the division grounds steadily receding into the building snow. “ is the power of my beloved Ice Queen. Isn’t she beautiful?” A violent cyclone of snow and harsh winds manifested before the Australian, clearing away to reveal a fair maiden enchanted with ice, just short of six feet with the body of a vixen and piercing blue eyes. “ Your choice now, bow and surrender or suffer the same fate as your fallen comrades. Hold on now, silly me, giving you a choice – I must’ve forgotten who I was. See, introduction makes this all the more easier, now you’ve even got me mistaking my identity, how crude. Joshua Benjamin, pleased to make your acquaintance gents. Unfortunately, I’m afraid I have to kill you now." - Spoiler:

| " Tch" a simple sound crept over the lips of San Hasu as the stranger, who would later announce himself as Joshua Benjamin, was beginning to slowly but surely tick him off. Benjamin's constant ability to avoid the questions at hand, had drew San Hasu plans of moving on to the next intruder to a swift stand still. There was no point in wasting his energy running around in circles when they could simply beat the answers out of him. It had even seemed that Benjamin had grown bored, of this pointless back and forth as he did something strange and began to speak of his queen. The statement would catch San Hasu slightly off guard as it seemed, he had something to do with the sudden change in weather as it begun to snow. Then out of nowhere a violent rush of spinning wind and snow would form in front of him before finally settling and revealing a woman enchanted in ice. A soft smirk slowly appeared across the face of San Hasu as he allowed his hand to reach to his Zanpakuto. It would seem that this stranger was indeed a funny one as he even went as far to proclaim that he was going to kill them. " It would seem that you're in tune with the wonders and beauty of ice. Than even you know that ice and snow can be unforgiving maidens in the hands of the right people." San Hasu quickly drew is Zanpakuto from his sheath as he held firmly in his hands. " Is this the faith that you truly wish to walk? For once you go down this path there is no turning back." A soft smirk slide across his face as he mocked the strange man. " Oh it would seem that I forgotten who I was too. I'm Captain San Hasu of the 13th division, and I'm afraid the only person that will be dying to here today is you and that foul beast you call a queen." San Hasu placed his hand on his Zanpakuto as he spoke a quick release phrase, " Sing For me Sukeyo." His Zanpakuto would quickly change in style and form as he pointed the tip of the blade at the man. " Let's see what you and your beast can really do." San Hasu could feel the temperature quickly dropping around his Zanpakuto as he swung the hilt of his sword and cause the blade to fly off and land squarely into the ground in the middle of both Benjamin and Yashakoi. The blade then begun to sink into the snow, as it started consuming the snow and turning it into ice. San Hasu's smirk would grow a little wilder he softly spoke. ' Shikai number 2 - Ice Platform'. Soon the once covered ground of snow would be frozen solid and the fight could really begin.

| I'm stuck in this moment, freeze the hands of time.
They fell, innocent and enchanting like their seductive Queen. The snow had risen quite a bit now, the surrounding area reminiscent of the North’s unforgiving winter. Yet, through this arctic weather, Joshua Benjamin remained cheery and snug. It was, as it had always been, as if the harbinger of the brittle cold was invincible to its effects; unfortunately however for these two, there was no such protection from the rapidly decreasing surrounding temperature. In no time, these two would come to be frozen, a sparkling ice sculpture for all to witness and observe first-hand the formidable power of the Bounto.
Frost roused from his lips as they parted, a sigh escaping in disappointment of his opponent’s lack of respect for his doll and the consequences that would ensue thereafter, actions not out of his immediate control but permitted by Joshua, a form of admiration for his beloved Ice Queen; for a man to call a well-esteemed lady of such grace foul and beastly was just spiteful and careless. The Captain surely would never get out of this encounter unscathed let alone conscious. The Ice Queen, addressed by the alias Charlotte, who nurtured Joshua’s fundamental ability and therefore stood to be as his right-hand woman was just as so- his right hand – for they acted with one mindset when they fought; however, given the situation at hand, Charlotte at this particular moment became agitated by the Captain’s insolence and acted independently of Joshua’s decree.
Be that as it may, it wasn’t an act of defiance as customary for an assumption, but deed carried on with personal motive, for Charlotte was a person of her own with her unique personality, despite the odd mutual-respect-master-slave relationship the two shared, she of course being the lesser of their partnership but ultimately possessing sovereignty due to her position as his Queen. With her particular personality and the sense of individuality bred in distinction to, it would be no surprise the abrupt approach in the takedown of her opponents. After all, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and ridiculed she felt when the harsh words of the Captain had rolled off his tongue. Ignorant in so doing, perhaps he was, but so were the ones before him who had lacked the knowledge and intricate design of Joshua’s abilities. It all began like any other cold winter’s eve, only to take a spooky, split-second turn to a devastated surrounding area characteristic of a glacier.
The Captain did, despite his lack of insight, deduce accurately, befittingly for the situation at hand, the unforgiving nature of the cold elements in the hands of those qualified enough to utilize to a maximum scope, the potential of the ice element. It seemed as though, Captain San Hasu of the thirteenth division, as he finally introduced himself, was also capable of some sort of ice elemental manipulation. Joshua Benjamin smirked, amused by San Hasu’s possession of the ice element or rather, the comical scenario of a person who was, quite possibly, adept with the ice element, to be frosted.
“There’s a proverbial saying, are you aware, that cautions one to keep his mouth and tongue in order to keep himself out of trouble? It would seem, Captain San Hasu, your wisdom betrays you in that aspect. Don’t you know hell hath no fury like a woman scorned? Well, in your dire situation, I suppose an Ice Queen scorned in her natural surroundings makes for a horrible ice-breaker,” he spoke in a tone jovial and menacing, traits of a demented, cunning freak of nature. Despite all this, he was still a gentle-man, for he allowed the Captain’s release of his Zanpakuto as common for them to do after Charlotte’s entrance.
Charlotte, however, had plans deviating away from Joshua’s, seeing through to it the Captain’s attack or technique, whichever it was, would never come to fruition. All that was necessary to engineer Charlotte’s seemingly time-freezing, motion-standstill, brisk offensive was a stroke of the snow-encumbered atmosphere with her extensive ice-composed sword, coinciding with San Hasu’s slinging of his weapon. “Little twerp, be numb and shatter, so I may feast upon your soul,” she spoke in a voice so angelic and soothing, her transpiring actions would be startling. Surely, one with such an innocent, angelic nature couldn’t cause harm.
“Oh, dear, I had hoped to somewhat observe your ability before you fell, but I suppose Charlotte had a different mindset. Forgive me, she isn’t quite as easy-going as I am,” Joshua let in both of his opponents in on some personal information about himself and Charlotte, hoping to entertain himself with some sort of discussion before this was all over, for watching Charlotte beat up these two wasn’t quite as filling as he had predicted. Perhaps it had been the straightforward, simple, smooth operating of his doll with her dealings with his opponents that caused his interest to cease; for there they were, perishing to the ice crystals which had shed their falsified materialization as just snow and transcended from their solid form into vapour that created an atmosphere so frigid in nature it halted movements and gradually camouflaged everything it came into contact with in ice. Of course, this outstripping of their solid texture into gaseous form took no time at all and the Captains both were unfortunate, careless enough to remain in the territory of the falling ice crystals which extended for fifty meter radius around Charlotte.
“I suppose you didn’t feel the cold breathing on your backs then. So much for a dramatic entrance, eh, Charlotte-chan?” he spoke in reference to his aforementioned caution to his opponents during his summoning of Charlotte. These two however had decided, in their own flawed insight, to ignore the Australian’s warning; did they think he was simply being pompous? Oh, how naive. “Just like a popsicle,” he pointed out, indicating to the Captains whose body would gradually but surely be encased in ice, one already frozen due to his lack of motion or action at all , literally freezing time, from their perspective anyhow. A character as complicated as the Australian, he had to have a befitting complex, devious ability.
"Looks like it's just you and I, Captain San Hasu. How would you like this story to end, Captain? As you can see, your colleague is already ice-cold. Haha, another funny! Comrades, I'm really killing it."

| The quick falling temperatures made San Hasu feel right at home. The cold weather did not bother him a bit as he had been come quite adapt to the feeling of his body tightening up and the tips of his fingers going numb. It was a feeling like no other that gave him so much excitement to be wrapped in the graceful love of chilled air. He knew better than anyone else, due to his Zanpakuto’s ice ability, he felt most alive when locked in battle with temperatures that were below 50 degrees. His movements were more fluent, his mind cleared to a point of absolution, and this moment was at no exception. Releasing of his Zanpakuto had already placed him in the mind state that told him, the grim reaper was right around the corner lurking over their battles with his scythe ready to claim the life of the loser.
This fight would have a simple poetic meaning to it, there are losers and there are winner, and only the strong can survive. This fight was not going to be simply called for who was right and who was wrong, weather Joshua had a good reason or not for participating in this attack upon the Soul Society meant nothing at this point. It was simply about him and San Hasu being right here in this moment ready to take away what the other held most dearest of all, life.
It was a little surprising to hear the fowl beast speak so clearly, although her words were only meant to fall on deft ears. San Hasu allowed a slight moment of notice to go towards his comrade who didn’t seem to be doing much. He wasn’t as lively as he was before and seemed to be stuck in place. The notice was only a split second, as San Hasu allowed a devilish smirk to appear across his face. He felt as the ice platform completed and snow that covered his feet turned to ice and slowly moved away as if to give him a clear patch of ice to stand on. The snow like substance had been falling for a minute or so, so much had fallen even on the roof that San Hasu’s foot had been covered by an inch. One could only imagine how much was around the feet of both the men who stood on even ground. San Hasu would admit to himself, this man out in front of him might just be as strong as he is, but the flaw that seemed to take over this man was that he was too cocky in his own ability to even pay attention that within the same moment that he had begun speaking the snow like substance had already been turned into ice by Sukeyo. Not only had the Ice extended pass the man by ten meters but it was still actively feeding on every new crystal that hit the ground. Sukeyo’s ability has always been a mystery of its own; most people that saw Ice Platform thought of it as just ice crawling across the ground, the fact could not be further from the truth as San Hasu’s blade didn’t simply give him the ability to control the ice, it became the ice and used San Hasu’s reiatsu to give it shape form and stability.
Because of this San Hasu had long since learned how to control the ice in a manner that was as simple as breathing and did not require movement from his body at all. He could provoke the ice to do his bidding by simply thinking or saying a command. The icy snow that covered both his comrade’s and Joshua’s feet was also coated in San Hasu’s reiatsu. Much like the structure of ice that was made from Sukeyo and it too would be hard to break and destroy, so when San Hasu provoked the ice to create a total of nine 11 feet spear to shoot forth from the ground and spear the man named Joshua through his body, the chances of the man suddenly dodging the attack was cut by more than half. Even if his foot was not trapped by the icy snow that was now under San Hasu’s control. The likely hood of him simply dodging this spontaneous attack with no warnings would be slim.
Even if he did manage to do so the only place for him to go would be up as eight of the spears shoot out from the ground towards is body like a perpendicular motion of a crossing circle, with the final spear shoot straight at the dead center of it. If he had been lucky enough to get to this point, the second portion of the attack would be his undoing as the San Hasu wave his hilt in an upward motion towards whichever way he went to release the Ice Rain technique and turn the spear into a 100 shard explosion aim directly to go through the man body. If he had been unlucky enough to not dodge the spears, San Hasu would still have shown no mercy the waved the hilt of zanpakuto to release the shards from inside the man’s body.
This would all would done in the mist of Joshua making a reference to them not feeling the cold breathing on their backs. As for the fowl beast, a small wall would spring forth at the same time as the spears did to separate the two from each other. The wall stood at 10 feet in height and stretched out a total of eight meters and was a foot in depth, setting the prefect pick between Joshua and Charlotte. Even if she were to break the wall down, it would be no use as it’d create the needed delay to the transpiring motions and leave Joshua to defend for himself against an attack that he could have not foreseen coming.

As you will read or should have read, the above quote will be impossible: - Quote :
- Charlotte, however, had plans deviating away from Joshua’s, seeing through to it the Captain’s attack or technique, whichever it was, would never come to fruition.
This of course meant the ice from your Zanpakutou would never occur, because: - Quote :
- All that was necessary to engineer Charlotte’s seemingly time-freezing, motion-standstill, brisk offensive was a stroke of the snow-encumbered atmosphere with her extensive ice-composed sword, coinciding with San Hasu’s slinging of his weapon.
As you see, Charlotte did something that complimented Hasu's throwing of his Zanpakuto. What'd she do? Though it's described what happens, but what exactly? Here: - Quote :
- for there they were, perishing to the ice crystals which had shed their falsified materialization as just snow and transcended from their solid form into vapour that created an atmosphere so frigid in nature it halted movements and gradually camouflaged everything it came into contact with in ice.
Something of some gas that freezes everything it comes into contact with and stops movement. Of course, nothing there was mentioned about your Zanpakuto or the snow on the ground being affected by this attack or whatever. But flashback or foreshadowing of what would occur: - Quote :
- Ignorant in so doing, perhaps he was, but so were the ones before him who had lacked the knowledge and intricate design of Joshua’s abilities. It all began like any other cold winter’s eve, only to take a spooky, split-second turn to a devastated surrounding area characteristic of a glacier.
There was no acknowledgement of these attacks it would seem - and they all came before, I quote: - Quote :
- This would all would done in the mist of Joshua making a reference to them not feeling the cold breathing on their backs.
I believe you're frozen, San Hasu, and your attacks never really happened, since you were frozen before then - so I shall move on. PM me with a feedback and not in this topic please. If it can't be resolved privately, we'll take it to the staff to rule on the issue at hand. It's been a pleasure.
Premeditated Murder. Joshua Benjamin had thought it over and foreseen these two as ice sculptures, before they crumbled into bits, forever extinct. He would laugh maniacally, content with the defeat of his opponents as he proceed to consume their pitiful souls, drinking them like he would any iced beverage, just how he preferred his victims – iced; but here he was, bitterly disappointed and embarrassed, to have made quick work of such revered adversaries. An accomplishment, some feeling of triumph was to be present and yet, it wasn’t, replaced instead by the stigma and letdown. There these two were for a moment, standing powerful and brimming with confidence; now here they were, frozen like any other, ordinary . What was he to do, now that his company was no longer? They didn’t even entertain Joshua, their humorless temperament a turn-off and conversation-killer; neither did they appreciate his efforts to lighten up the mood. Maybe they did deserve death after all. Meanwhile, comrades were too busy to even check in on him, how lonesome, this life of an intruder. His Queen was still with him, however, so the desolate feeling faded away briskly, as Charlotte engaged in high-speed movement to assault the Frozen One on the ground, intending to kill with brutal force to the head. Would Joshua let Charlotte have her way? There comes a time where a King must bow to his Queen and do her bidding, conform to her will by way of explanation. He grabbed his cigarette, bringing up to his face and shielding against the brisk wind, attempted several times to lit the roll of tobacco. To no avail, he stood frustrated as he looked on, The Australian mastermind calculating. A sigh of pity before he authorized, in a much more profound and somber tone, “ Charlotte, stop,” the Ice Queen herself surprised at his sudden change in tone halted, almost immediately – some inches away from her target, her focus unwavering as her curiosity questioned Joshua’s motives. “ Joshy-kun, why’re you so serious?” “ Change of plans, Charlotte-chan. These two are mere kids with grown-up powers. They have potential, leave them be and let’s move on.” “ W-What?! Have you gone crazy?!” “ I’ve always been crazy, Charlotte-chan. I simply can’t let myself be content with beating up kids. Besides, it will be so much more fun engaging them in the future, when they’re all grown and out for revenge, don’t you think, Charlotte-chan?” “ Joshua-kun...” “ Let’s get going, new orders in, we have no time,” he referred to the orders given to him over the wireless, small ear-piece, before he turned around and headed for his destination. Destroy and leave, huh? Fascinating ... tedious. I wanna go home, this is tiresome. “ If that’s the case, we’d need to distinguish them somehow. Something like a scar, no?” “ A scar, huh? Just be quick, be gentle now,” he spoke with a subtle hint of laughter, Charlotte always finding a way to perk up his mood. So she proceeded, like the heartless, chilled Queen she was and handicapped the Captain, taking out both of his legs so he would be forced to crawl for the rest of his life. Of course, she was unaware of the healing potency of soul society and the possibility of this grounded captain to once again walk; so she let her ignorance carry her on, towards the frozen captain of the thirteenth division as she proceeded to also detach his limbs. However, since she wanted to be able to distinguish between both men, for her own personal entertainment, she took away his arms. He would now forever be unable to wield a Zanpakuto, especially one with its power. A discourteous man like him didn’t deserve to wield the power of the ice element. After all this was done, she followed her King, away from the frozen surroundings, for every great man needed an even more superior woman backing him up. The Captains would remain frozen, with their respective limbs shattered and thawed into the encompassing ice, forever gone. Their detrimental physical state of being would alleviate once she granted them such liberty, their exposure to very low temperatures and for an elongated time would impact them negatively, regardless of any sort of resistance to cold, and they would forever be subject to pneumonia and a skin so pale they could easily be mistaken for ghouls from the underworld. | Requesting Staff ruling. The fact is that just about every point that Agent Allzweck 2nd just about made seems God mode and missed proven to cover up the fact that he loss. He's trying to disprove the releasing of Ice Platform by saying that I never would have got my attack off, because I was instantly frozen. I'm not even going to get into how op that sounds and how he doesn't back up the statement throughout his initial post. But I am going to point out one Major fact that he fails to realized in his whole reasoning of why I loss is clearly misguided. Let's look at quote number three, that pretty much automatically cancel out his points about one and two. Last time I check and I quote the statement read. - All that was necessary to engineer Charlotte’s seemingly time-freezing, motion-standstill, brisk offensive was a stroke of the snow-encumbered atmosphere with her extensive ice-composed sword, coinciding with San Hasu’s slinging of his weapon. wrote:

Unless I missed understood something, coinciding means happen at same time: to happen at or around the same time. So the fact that she released her attack at the same time I had slung my blade, doesn’t that mean that my blade would have been released freely from its hilt, also he never goes into a point of stopping it from hitting the ground meaning that my Zanpakuto release would have went unhindered. Therefore his points about my attacks not going through sounds flawed, because I didn’t even need to move my body to control the ice, which was clearly explained in my post. The only possible thing I can even assume from this is that trying to say that I was instantly frozen in place, so did he instantly stop the moment that would have been built in the throwing off my blade too? Because that sounds illogical, being that force alone would still cause it to jerk out of the hilt and be released. He even later states in his initial post that this effect would gradually happen. So I’m trying to see where gradually became instant. Now let’s jump down to quote four and five. Because I’ve never been on a site that allowed instant freezing of people who were actively participating in a topic, the only thing I could assume is that it would take at least two post (the activation of the freezing and the results of the freezing due to the fact the fact that my character did nothing to prevent this.) Meaning that unless I’m wrong, I should have a post to either flee or do something to stop this, or make an attempt on his life. Because I took his statement on face values that the freezing in turning to ice should be gradually happening to me, I could attempt an attacked with a blow that was meant to kill him, since he never did anything to actually stop my attack from coming to pass. Also since there is no clear way of knowing how long it should actively take to freeze over, I stated everything short of the ice taking over my body on how his attack was effecting my character in the first paragraph, being that I didn’t move him move more than his arms and eyes, I didn’t see it as important enough to state. Now if I’m I am clearly wrong about all of the points that I made, and you can show how his point of view of me attacking can happen. I will gratefully except defeat and the death of my character.

| Oh, no. The blade certainly did get released, I said nothing to disprove that. However, your ice platform or whichever it is, will be halted due to this: - Quote :
- for there they were, perishing to the ice crystals which had shed their falsified materialization as just snow and transcended from their solid form into vapour that created an atmosphere so frigid in nature it halted movements and gradually camouflaged everything it came into contact with in ice.
Much like your ice platform forms, this technique turns everything it touches into ice and limits movement due to the frigid temperature, which would include the thrown blade and ice forming. Which means, due to the snow all over the area, the ice platform would be incomplete or even existent, as Joshua's overwhelming snow turns into: - Quote :
- It all began like any other cold winter’s eve, only to take a spooky, split-second turn to a devastated surrounding area characteristic of a glacier.
It's not instant, of course not, none of it was. But also the fact I mentioned gradually doesn't mean it takes forever, taking note you're surrounded by snow which becomes gas. Hell, it'd almost be instantaneous giving the effects of the gas itself, which you would be thoroughly surrounded by. It only became so when you disregarded of the attack by not making mention of it and by doing so, practically embraced the attack (AKA I calling a complete hit) moving on. Needless to say, this quote: - Quote :
- Charlotte, however, had plans deviating away from Joshua’s, seeing through to it the Captain’s attack or technique, whichever it was, would never come to fruition.
goes to show her attack would impede the progress of the ice plat-form. To conclude, there's also the fact your attacks ensued during Joshua's speech: - Quote :
- “I suppose you didn’t feel the cold breathing on your backs then. So much for a dramatic entrance, eh, Charlotte-chan?” he spoke in reference to his aforementioned caution to his opponents during his summoning of Charlotte.
which was much after Hasu was freezing up. And even if Hasu did continue with his attacks, he would be bitterly disappointed by their lack of reaching Joshua since the platform would never have gotten to him. But yes, I suppose a staff ruling would be better.

| Okay I see what you're trying to get at, but what I learned in science is that when things get cold enough to the point of freezing and ice forming. Even if the ice started forming at two different points, when they finally come together, they do not simply stop spreading, they merge. Prime example is cup of water in your freezer with ice cubes placed in it. By the time the water has frozen, the water the ice has merged into nothing but one big chunk of ice with no real possible way of saying where one cube started and another ended. Even if you want to go to a grander scale than that, The Antarctica, it is pure and simple land masses of large amounts of ice that simple merged together. Being that your ice would have simply merge with mine, and it is the after effect of your attack, I see no valid reason for why my attack would have been simply stopped at that point. It seems the way that you explained it, the ice that you created was simply ice that was caused due to fact that you had lowered the temperature with your gas release. Meaning it had no special properties what so ever, like mine being coated with my reiatsu. Meaning that once it would have merged it would have been simply taken on as part of my attack as my reiatsu would have provoked mine to continue spreading to it's max length.
Unless you're getting ready to tell I miss understood something about ice merging or point out another fact that I missed about your ice, I see no reason that my attack wouldn't have reached. Also if you want go into the point that it was so cold that my ice wouldn't have spread anyways neither would have yours, since the only notable difference between your ice and mine is that mine is coated in my reiatsu, which I think would have slightly given me the advantage for having a lower freeze point that yours.

| OOC: Listen up. This topic has dragged on for all the wrong reasons. You guys need to reach a compromise. Since this battle was never meant to result in death for peeps. Any hit called will not result in death. Damage sure, but nothing truly substantial. In the mean time. This event is reaching its climax. All Bounts have got a Negacion light shone down on them. Read the latest post by Agent Allzweck IV in the link provided. So carry on without any hard feelings. https://souls-unleashed.forumotion.com/t814p15-the-objective#Jushiro Out | |

| The Negacions Descends upon the bounto. Those who failed in their mission were turned to dust. A trait of Bounto they were neither alive or dead but a something akin to a vampire. They leave behind a present for the their old creators. The dead litter the ground, primarily centered around the 4th division, the 3rd division and 12th division. However most of the death is apparent in the 4th division. The division are still in chaos as missing captains result in a break in command. The last of the hollows are being taken down as ranking officers assume command over small groups as their field manual dictates. Soul Society has been peaceful for many centuries now but now the organization that has been the iconic figure for peace enforcement has been challenged. Hell butterflies are released all of Soul Society has ranking officers are relaying messages to their sub-ordinates. However there are a few special types of messages delivers from the 2nd division find the ears of the captains. "Sir, your presence is requested in the 1st division Barracks" That was all they knew, relayed from the very top. with that they would disappear. | |
