| The Quincy Race The Monks of Destruction
The Quincy (滅却師 (クインシー), Kuinshī; lit. "Monk of Destruction") are a line of spiritually aware Human warriors. They use their ability to absorb and manipulate Reiryoku to create bows and arrows from spiritual energy. These arrows and their related techniques are extremely potent and dangerous to spiritual beings. The majority of them were killed centuries ago with only an handful remaining active ... or so the story goes.
The Quincy's Existence
Quincy are spiritually aware humans able to absorb and manipulate Reiryoku into weapons. Unlike the Shinigami who use a sword as their primary weapon, the Quincy's weapon of choice is a bow or a crossbow. These are constructed from spiritual particles drawn from their surroundings. This is also unlike the Shinigami, who rely on their own innate spiritual energy. (As a reflection of this, the Quincy have white spirit threads like normal humans, while Shinigami have red spirit threads.) A Quincy bow is summoned using an artifact called a Quincy Cross. The only limit to a Quincy's ability to create and fire arrows is their own stamina and ability to absorb ambient spirit particles. Quincy also have various tools and battle aides that can increase their power or serve as secondary weapons.
The Quincy's Past
The Quincy were scattered all over the world at one time. They were relatives of magic hunters who specialized in the war against Hollows. All the Quincy were destroyed by the Shinigami centuries ago in order to prevent the destruction of the world. Shinigami govern the souls between the Human World and Soul Society, which maintains a balance that if not kept would result in the mutual destruction of both worlds. All souls, including Hollows, are subject to the Shinigami governance of maintaining the balance. The Quincy's method would completely extinguish Hollows, thus the souls that come to the Human World do not return to Soul Society and therefore the souls would increase only on the side of the Human World. Meaning, the Human World becomes heavy in souls causing Soul Society to spill over into it: mixing life and death. The ultimate result would be the end of the world. Since the origin of the Quincy, many years passed with Soul Society trying to appeal to the Quincy that the handling of Hollows should be left to the Shinigami. In spite of negotiations, the Quincy refused to accept the gravity of the situation. As time went on, the number of Quincy increased and the cycle of souls became more unstable, forcing the Shinigami to reluctantly wipe out the Quincy in order to maintain the balance of the world.
The Quincy line was closely monitored over the decades, as their numbers continued to dwindle. Later the Quincy advanced the idea that since they were already among the living and still more numerous at the time, they could act as "first responders" to Hollow attacks; protecting humans until the less-numerous Shinigami could send a representative to finish the Hollow off. Embittered by the recent war, the Shinigami refused to participate, opting instead to allocate their limited resources to reacting to the most dangerous Hollows and current Hollow attacks. This has caused friction between the Shinigami and the Quincy and as a result, the Quincy has shown great displeasure towards the Shinigami.
The Vandenreich Introduction
The Vandenreich was somehow able to survive the Quincy massacre two hundred years ago and became strong enough to challenge Soul Society. The war between the Quincy of the Vandenreich came to an end centuries past. The end of their feud, ushered in a new era of grief for all the realms involved. As of now, The Vandenreich and its Stern Ritters seem to be waiting for the moment to strike. They have been quiet thus far, but its only a matter of time before they make their presence known once again.
The Quincy Philosophy
While they are trained to confront Hollows in order to defeat them just as Shinigami do, the biggest difference between the Quincy and Shinigami, since ancient times, is whether to kill or not to kill Hollows. The Shinigami purify Hollows with their Zanpakutō and send them to Soul Society, while the Quincy exterminated the Hollows. The idea can be seen as comparing justice and vengeance: "Hollows devour souls of Humans, so why must it be that those who harm and kill friends and relatives get sent peacefully to Soul Society?". The Shinigami stood firm on their own ideals in order to maintain the balance, and this has caused further animosity between the Monks and the Soul Reapers.
The Stern Ritters
The Stern Ritter (星十字騎士団 (シュテルンリッター), shuterunrittā; German for "Star Knights", Japanese for "Star Cross Knight Band/Order") are a specific group of powerful Quincy in the Vandenreich's army. The Current Vandenreich Cater to 10 Stern Ritters. These Quincy can be compared to the powers of a Captain or Espada.
The Kapitan are the battallion leaders. Given groups of 50 to a 100 men to lead to skirmish attacks or take strategic points. These are the officers amoung the Quincy army and are not necessarily under the direct leadership of the Stern Ritters. The Kapitan can be compared to the level of a Lieutenant's. Krieg Opie was a Kapitan (albeit a very strong one).
Soldat, soldier in German, are the basic infantrymen. The meat of the Quincy Military strength. These can be compared to nameless, single digit officers or unseated officers. Some show promise as high level training enables to easily wipe out lesser level hollows with great ease.

- -Level 1 – Capable of using at most 4 uses at a time before a 4 post recharge rate. At this level you are easily traceable to the naked eye, meaning people can sense where your Hirenkyaku is going. But that doesn't make it any less swift. Cost - 300 Soul currency
- -Level 2 – Capable of using at most 8 uses at a time before a 4 post recharge rate. A normal LT level Hirenkyaku move. Your untraceable to the naked eye, and a blur to any level ones. You are noticeable to any Level 3’s. Cost - 500 Soul currency
- -Level 3 – Capable of using at most 12 uses at a time before a 4 post recharge rate. A captain level Hirenkyaku mover, untraceable to anyone that isn't level 3, and a blur to level 2. Cost - 700 Soul currency
Augmentation-
- -Trugbild – Level 1 – A move that allows for the a movement of great speed, much higher than Hirenkyaku. Leaving behind an afterimage that can appear to take damage or even die. Can use twice a fight. [Strategic, Instant] Cost - 250 Soul currency
- -Trugbild – Level 2 – Same as above however this appears to take damage and leave behind a piece of cloth so it feels as though the opponent cut or hit. Even looking as if the move hit. This also increases your Hirenkyaku to 14 times a before a 4 post recharge rate. Cane be used 4 times a fight. [Strategic, Instant] Cost - 500 Soul currency
- -Klon – Level 1 – This technique allows the user to create clones, up to 5 afterimage clones. These clones are tangible and last up to two posts. After all five have been used there is a recharge of 7 posts. [Strategic, Instant] Cost - 250 Soul currency
- -Klon– Level 2 – The final stage of Junkei, allowing the user to leave behind or create up to 15 afterimages clones, these clones are tangible and no amount of sensory can tell them apart from the real deal. They last five posts, once all 15 are used, a 7 post recharge is needed. [Strategic, Instant] Cost - 500 Soul currency
- -fahren beschriften – Only obtainable if one has final stages of both Klon, Trugbild and Ransōtengai. This is a advance form of everything, increases Hirenkyaku count to 16, increases Trugbild use to 6 times, and increases Klon to 18 times. Cost - 1000 Soul currency

- -Level 1 – In every art, one has to start off somewhere. And for those on this level, they are at the bottom of the food chain in terms of skill. You’re capable of defending yourself barehanded, but you’re lacking in speed and power and technique.You can land an accurate hit and cause damage with your fists. In a rumble you could kill someone barehanded, given enough hits. At this level, your comparable to a 4-5th seat in terms of physical punching power. Cost - 300 Soul currency
- -Level 2 – Those of this level may also employ speed, strength and agility in order to take down their opponents. By attacking certain points of the body, they are capable of stunning their opponent by landing a critical hit. Like their master counterpart, experts too can knock an opponent unconscious, with a strong enough strike to the back of the neck. Handkampf Experts may also come in different forms, based on their way of fighting. Some will rely on brute strength and speed, while others are more acrobatic and agile compared to most. This is standard for most captains, good skills, able to handle themselves without there weapon. At least level you can block a level 1 unreleased zanpakuto with your hands. Cost - 500 Soul currency
- -Level 3 – Handkampf Masters are more or less the equivalent of a master swordsman, although the applications may be different. This means, Handkampf masters will have little too no trouble doing combat, against those who specialize in a different art of fighting. Always looking to out manoeuvre their opponent, their arms and legs, can prove to be lethal weapons at times. Those of this level know exactly where to hit in order to cause the most pain and discomfort to their opponents. True masters, at this level you can block the shikai of a level one, and the unreleased of a level two in terms of zanpakuto with your hands and feet. Cost - 700 Soul currency
Augmentation-
- -Handkampf Superstar - Must be at least a level two to purchase any hakuda techniques. (This costs nothing, but is a stated requirement)
- -Blut – Level 1 – Blut Vene one of two Blut abilities. Blut Vene is the defensive blut. It must consciously be kept a full power at all times if to counter an opponents technique to deal damage over time. Blut Arterie is one of the two forms of Blut. Blut Arterie is the blut of offense. At this stage your Blut is weak and transitioning in between isn't very effective. Switching Your Blut: When switching blut, there will be a three post cooldown between uses. Meaning, in one post you in Blut Vene, to change, you must first state in your post you’re switching, then you wait three posts, and in the following power your blut is now Blut Arterie. Able to stop Bankai sword attacks from level 2 Zanjutsu. Kidou under 50 are negligible in terms of damage at this stage. Attacks in Blut Arterie get +5 in terms of Kido power. Cost - 300 Soul currency

- -Blut – Level 2 – Same as above however this adds an additional nomenclature, instead of taking three posts to transition, it now takes one. Switching Your Blut: When switching blut, there will be a one post cooldown between uses. Meaning, in one post you in Blut Vene, to change, you must first state in your post you’re switching, then you wait a post, and in the following power your blut is now Blut Arterie. Kidou up to 85 are negligible in terms of damage. Attacks in Blut Arterie get +8 in terms of Kido power.Cost - 700 Soul currency

- -Level 1 – You can use Ginto, good for you. That's it, no extra benefits. Post count for refilling your Ginto tubes is 1 turn per tube. So, in order to re-fill one of your tubes you need to spend 1 of your posts gathering reishi and putting it into your Ginto tube. During that turn you can't use any Ginto Spell. But, you can still fight. Ginto can only be as strong as your rank allows. Cost - 300 Soul currency
- -Level 2 – All of the abilities from the stage before this, you got them. Post count for refilling your Ginto tubes is 2 turns per 3 tubes. So, in order to re-fill three of your tubes you need to spend 2 of your posts gathering reishi and putting it into your Ginto tube. During those 2 turns you can't use any Ginto Spell. But, you can still fight. Of course, you can just re-fill your Ginto tubes using the method from before if you want. You now are able to use Seele Schneider's and the spells that go along with them. Cost - 500 Soul currency
- -Level 3 – You still have all of the abilities from the stage before this. You also get 1 free Custom Ginto slot when starting out. Post count for refilling your Ginto tubes is 1 turn per 2 tubes. So, in order to re-fill two of your tubes you need to spend 1 of your posts gathering reishi and putting it into your Ginto tube. During that turn you can't use any Ginto Spell. But, you can still fight. Of course, you can just re-fill your Ginto tubes using the method from before if you want. At this level, you can use spells without tubes (If purchased the necessary augmentations) Cost - 700 Soul currency
Augmentation-
- -Leeres Rohr –Level One – The use of Quincy Spells without tubes, however they are significantly weaker than there tube counterparts. About 15 levels weaker, the charge still follows the guidelines above. [Must be level 3 to purchase] Cost - 250 Soul currency
- -Leeres Rohr –Level Two – Able to use Quicy Spells without the use of tubes, however they are slightly weaker than there tube counterparts, about 7 levels. However, the charge now follows that of kidou uses for said rank Must be level 3 Ginto and have purchased level 1 Leeres Rohr. Cost - 500 Soul currency
- -Ransōtengai –Level One – This is a high level technique that allows the user to control their body parts using strings of spirit energy controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless reishi. By using this technique, the user can control their body as one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs or any other force that would impede normal movement. Must have purchased Level 3 Ginto and Level three Absorption. Only Lasts for 5 posts. Cost - 250 Soul currency
- -Ransōtengai–Level Two –Same as previously mentioned, however you must have purchased Level One of Ransōtengai as well. At this stage it lasts for 8 posts

- -Level 1 –Quincy's consume large amounts of reiatsu to fuel there powers and techniques, it takes practice and efficiency to do such things at combat ready speeds. Whenever they venture to new worlds, it takes a while for them to ideally use the surroundings for their uses of reishi. Any damage or strategic skills that use the manipulation of reishi are reduced by 75% for 8 posts. After 4 posts their damage is restored to 50% and after an additional 4 posts, its restored to full (In terms of damage, that's roughly 3/4 power for 4 posts). In the human world, natural home, they suffer no penalty. At this stage your comparable to a 3rd Seat in strength. However due to consumption, Quincy are immune to pressure skills of other races (Such are bringing people to their knees) Cost - 300 Soul currency
- -Level 2 – Same as previously mentioned, however your skills at consuming reiatsu are roughly a LT level now. Whenever they venture to new worlds, it takes a while for them to ideally use the surroundings for their uses of reishi. Any damage or strategic skills that use the manipulation of reishi are reduced by 50% for 6 posts. After 3 posts their damage is restored to 75% and after an additional 3 posts, full damage is restored. (In terms of damage, that's roughly the level of attack divided in half for 4 posts)(Such are bringing people to their knees). Cost - 500 Soul currency
- -Level 3 – The highest level, obtainable though rigorously years of training. Now ones skills at consuming Reishi are roughly a Captain Level. Whenever they venture to new worlds, it takes a while for them to ideally use the surroundings for their uses of reishi. Any damage or strategic skills that use the manipulation of reishi are reduced by 25% for 2 posts. After 2 posts their damage is restored to full and at this stage the presence of a Quincy can be used to bring any level one to their knees, and they are undetectable to any level one's and very hard to detect to any level two's. Cost - 700 Soul currency

- Average Spiritual Pressure: Those with an average amount of spiritual pressure are those of lower rank, such as 4th seat to unseated, lower level Arrancar etc. Those at this level are at a Level 1 stage in terms of Reiatsu.
High Spiritual Pressure: This level of spiritual power corresponds to those possessing an above average amount of spiritual power, which is finely controlled. This level of spiritual power is common among those of an average lieutenant rank and high ranked seated officers. Fraccions and such are also covered under this section. This covers a Level 2 in terms of Reiatsu.
Great Spiritual Pressure: This level of spiritual power corresponds to those possessing a large amount of spiritual power which is finely controlled. This level of spiritual power is common among those of a Captain rank. Alternatively, Espada, Stern Ritter and Elite Fullbringers. Lieutenants/3rd Seats, Fraccions, etc, can now look to take the next step to truly being one of the big boys. A Shinigami without a Bankai, is still not on par with a Captain.
Disclaimer: For Shinigami not starting out as Elite(Captain). They require a Level 3 in Reiatsu & Zanapakuto with one other combat style. They must have also mastered Bankai before thinking of parading on the same level as a Captain. Augmentation-
- -Heavy Drinker – A fairly unique and aspect skill, when entering a new world, they Quincy does not suffer any penalties to there damage or strategic skills. Being that there bodies consume much heavier and more solid reishi than others. Must be level three to buy. Cost - 300 Soul currency
- -Schatten – Due to there consumption practices, this allows Quincy's of sufficient strength to appear invisible, as if one with there surrounding reishi. Anyone who isn't a level three can not detect them (In Reiatsu). (Obvious conditions apply) [Cannot be ignored.] (Must be level 3 and have Heavy Drinker to purchase) Cost - 300 Soul currency
- -Überlastung – Once a fight, a Quincy can take in a huge amount of reishi, basically healing wounds before they take place, giving them 2 posts of invincibility [Cannot be ignored or removed]. These two posts do not count towards re/charge based attacks, must have purchased Heavy Drinker. Cost - 500 Soul currency
- -Schockwelle – Once a fight, the Quincy can expend a large amount of reishi in a outward cone, this skill will mitigate oncoming attacks and follows the GRC in template in terms of power (Consider it a Cone like Attack that follows GRC for your given level)[Reiatsu, Instant]. This skill removes all counts of re/charging and can't be used with Uberlastung. [Must have purchased Uberlastung and Heavy Drinker and level 2] Cost - 700 Soul currency
#. >Schockwelle< - ’ >Shock Wave< ’ Class: Reiatsu, Instant Attributes: Damage, Increased Damage, Piercing Damage ' > Schockwelle is a reiatsu blast that only Level two and above are capable of using. It is performed by expelling a large amount of reishi outwards in a conical fashion. It rips through weaker attacks and midigates them, as strong attacks also reduces the damage done. Has the strength of Level 86 Kidou< ' Post Durations: 1 Post Cooldown: 3 post usage Price: 700 Points.

- -Level 1 – : Users Quincy weaponry fall behind those who have mastered the art, but are no slouches either when it comes down to it. They can protect themselves with Seele/Spirit Weapon respectably and can launch attacks that can harm or even kill an unprepared opponent. But they usually fall short when facing against opponents of a higher skill level. The faster they fight, the weaker their blade becomes, the stronger their attacks, the slower their reaction time. Roughly a 3rd seat in terms of skills. Grants one extra technique to your weapon. Cost - 300 Soul currency
- -Level 2 – An Expert Seele/Spirit Weapon wielding Quincy is highly skilled using their weapon. They are not as skilled or efficient as a master weapons specialist would be. However, it would be fatal to ever underestimate their sword/weaponry wielding skills. The speed at which an expert weapon specialist can strike will be noticeably slower compared to that of a master weapons specialist. Your weapon, its strength is enough to match a level one shikai. Grants two extra technique's. Able to achieve Vollständig. Cost - 500 Soul currency
- -Level 3 – A master Quincy’s ability with their Seele/Spirit Weapon is like that of a Zanapakuto or natural weapon wielding master. As a master swordsman, your skills are far above the rest that falls below this level. One can strike multiple times swiftly and with precise movements. Changing directions and attack types, such as going from mere slashes to piercing is but child’s play. A master swordsman's has great speed, high mobility, and great reaction time. They fight with a true instinct, having trained their body for this specific purpose. Grants two extra techniques, to either weapon or Vollständig. Cost - 700 Soul currency
Augmentation-
- -Talsperre – Firing off about 50 reiatsu blasts at an opponent, this technique can cause serious pain to an individual. Must be a level two to purchase, has a cooldown of 6 posts. Cost - 150 Soul currency
Talsperre - ' Arrow Volley ' Attributes Reiatsu, Damage Class: Reiatsu, Instant ['Fires off a single arrow that splits off into 50 different blasts at an opponent. The combatant utilizing this technique can release up to 50 reiatsu arrows at once. In order to perform the technique, one must first gather their Reiatsu and release it as rapid attack. What makes the it unique, is that each blast explodes upon contact. These explosions are only as strong as a level 35 kidou. '] Post Durations: 1 Post. Cooldown: 1 Post. Price: 150 Points.
- -Kanonenfeuer –Perhaps the most deadly, and sinister of the Quincy Techniques. While not as powerful as say, some direct attacks, its numerous projectiles can cause major concern. The user is able to fire a barrage of reiatsu blasts at their opponent. Must be level three, and level three in Verbrauch Cost - 250 Soul currency
Kanonenfeuer - ' Grand Canon Fire ' Attributes Reiatsu, Damage Class: Reiatsu, Instant ['Fires off a multitude of shots, near numerous in count, roughly 1000 different arrow blasts. Its numerous projectiles pose a major concern, in comparison to a large scale attack. Each blast is roughly as strong as a level 45 kidou. In unison they deal whole sale damage roughly a level 92 if hit by a large number. '] Post Durations: 1 Post. Cooldown: 1 Post. Price: 250 Points.
- -The Seele Schneider is a weapon much like a chainsaw, with Reishi making 3 million round trips per second around the edge of the blade. The vibrations of the Seele Schneider are not just for cutting. Through its vibrations, the Seele Schneider loosens the bonds between the Reishi of whatever it cuts in order to make them easier to capture. The Quincy fight by gathering the surrounding Reishi and using them as their own personal weapon, and the most powerful manifestation of that is the Seele Schneider. The Seele Schneider is not a sword, but an arrow. (Its power equals a Shikai level blade at level 3 and it lowers opponents defense by 1 tier, from bronze skill to whatever is bellow and such, from level 3 to level 2 etc.) 200 Points each, max 5, Level 3 in Cross and at least Level 2 in Reiatsu and Ginto.
